REQUEST:  Approval of Resolution No. R2018-49 to abandon/vacate a 0.765 acre portion of a 20-foot wide water easement within Glenspur Farms (AKA Tonkawa Farms).

EXPLANATION:  South Road Wellington, LP., owner, is relocating a portion of an existing water line to accommodate construction of an outdoor kitchen and has provided a new easement for this purpose.  They are requesting to vacate/abandon the portion of the easement that is no longer needed.

 

The Engineering Services Department and Utility Department have determined the requested vacation of the 20-foot wide water main easement is consistent with the public interest and will not adversely affect utility or maintenance access to other properties.
