ITEM: 18-100 (ARB 18-018) Binks Commercial Center (Lots 5, 6, 12 and 13)

SUMMARY: At the September 20, 2017 Architectural Review Board (ARB) meeting, the board approved Petition 17-116 (2017-014 ARB) (see attached ARB approval letter) for the elevations, colors and material for Lots 5, 6, 12 and 13 of Binks Commercial Center. The owner was to adhere to the conditions listed in the approval letter.
During construction of the buildings, some revisions were made without consulting staff or receiving additional approvals from ARB. Those items include:
- Change of color from a brown color palette (Egret White and Mega Greige) to a gray color palette (Cadet and Misty)
- Reduced the size of the dormers above the entrances
- Removed the mullions in the windows
The owner has provided pictures and justification as to why the changes were made and is asking the ARB to approve the changes.
