A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA, APPROVING HURRICANE IRMA FEDERALLY-FUNDED SUBAWARD AND GRANT AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE STATE OF FLORIDA, DIVISION OF EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT AND THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

EXPLANATION: Staff requests Council approval and authorization to execute the Federally-Funded Subaward and Grant Agreement with the State of Florida Division of Emergency Management (attached). This funding agreement provides funds for eligible disaster relief due to Hurricane Irma. Amendments to this agreement will be processed and executed by the Mayor as they are approved by FEMA and the State. FEMA and the State’s share of all eligible costs are as summarized below:
