EXPLANATION: The annual Keely Spinelli grant provides funding to eleven public schools serving Wellington. In fiscal year 2019, Council approved $400,000 in funding for this program. On October 9, 2018, the Village Council awarded a total of $330,000 or $30,000 to each of the eleven eligible schools, through the Keely Spinelli Grant.
Staff is seeking authorization to award the remaining $70,000, budgeted in FY 2019, amongst the eleven eligible schools as summarized below:
• Binks Forest Elementary - $6,363.00
• Elbridge Gale Elementary - $6,363.00
• Equestrian Trails Elementary - $6,363.00
• New Horizons Elementary - $6,363.00
• Panther Run Elementary - $6,363.00
• Wellington Elementary - $6,363.00
• Polo Park Middle - $6,363.00
• Emerald Cove Middle - $6,363.00
• Wellington Landings Middle - $6,363.00
• Palm Beach Central H.S. $6,363.00
• Wellington H.S. $6,363.00
