REQUEST: Approval of Resolution No. R2019-14 authorizing the execution of the Second Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between the Village of Wellington and Palm Beach County to lease a fuel dispensing system.

EXPLANATION: On January 27, 2009, through Resolution No. R2009-09, Council approved an Interlocal Agreement with Palm Beach County to lease a fuel dispensing system that allows the Village to interface with the County's Fleet Management Computer.

The agreement provided for an original term of five (5) years with two (2) five (5) year renewal options. The original five (5) year term expired on May 20, 2014. Staff entered into the first five year renewal option on April 8, 2014 (Resolution R2014-23) scheduled to expire on May 20, 2019. Staff recommends exercising the second and final five year renewal option and approval of the Second Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement (attached) between the Village of Wellington and Palm Beach County.

All terms and conditions contained in the original agreement remain unmodified and in full force and effect. Under this Agreement the County will continue to provide all normal maintenance service and parts at a cost of $304.00 per month.
