ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO CONTINUE UTILIZING A SOUTHEAST FLORIDA CO-OP CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF WATER METER FITTINGS AND WATER LINE ACCESSORIES

EXPLANATION: This contract provides for the supply of small diameter service piping and fittings used for the installation, repair and replacement of water services. Multiple vendors are included as part of the contract, allowing for flexibility and access to materials.
Contract #2018-19/12 was awarded to multiple vendors by the City of Deerfield Beach, acting as the lead agency for the Southeast Florida Co-Op Group. The initial contract is effective from March 6, 2019 through March 5, 2022. This contract includes a provision for three (3) additional one (1) year renewal option.
