ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT FOR THE VILLAGE PARK CONCESSION STAND DOOR REPLACEMENT - PHASE II PROJECT
REQUEST: Authorization to award a contract to CJ Contracting, LLC, for the Village Park Concession Stand Door Replacement - Phase II project, in the amount of $105,205.00.

EXPLANATION: This project includes removal and replacement of existing concession stand doors at Village Park Soccer Field #1; Village Park Soccer Field #2; and Village Park Lacrosse Field. The buildings are between 15 and 20 years old and as such, the existing metal doors and frames have deteriorated, and thus require replacement. The existing metal doors will be replaced by fiberglass doors.
On March 11, 2019, Wellington released ITB 201907 seeking qualified firms to provide such services. On April 2, 2019, the Village received three (3) proposals as summarized below:

Staff recommends awarding a contract to CJ Contracting, LLC. the lowest responsive, responsible bidder for the Village Park Concession Stand Door Replacement - Phase II project, in the amount of $105,205.00. The contractor has indicated they would be performing the work in house and will not necessitate the use of subcontractors.
