EXPLANATION: The Parks and Recreation Department utilizes a contract for the purchase and delivery of various uniforms for Village Sports Programs.
On July 12, 2016, Council awarded Bid #018-16/ENR to Scotty’s Sport Shop, Inc. to provide such services and materials. Staff is requesting authorization to exercise the first renewal option with Scotty’s Sport Shop, Inc, a Western Communities local vendor, through October 12, 2020, with no price increases.
Scotty’s Sport Shop, Inc. is a Western Communities local vendor, and has provided superior service to the Village since 2001.
Staff recommends renewing an existing contract with Scotty’s Sport Shop, Inc., through October 12, 2020, for the purchase and delivery of sports uniforms, in the amount of approximately $67,000 annually.
