A RESOLUTION OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA'S COUNCIL APPROVING A QUIT CLAIM DEED BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON AND THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of a Quit Claim Deed between the Village of Wellington and the State of Florida Department of Transportation for a parcel described as an Access Easement between the School Board of Palm Beach County and the Village of Wellington.

EXPLANATION: The State of Florida Department of Transportation has made application to the Village of Wellington requesting a quit claim deed for the parcel of property now described as an Access Easement between the Village and the School Board of Palm Beach County. The FDOT is proposing to construct/improve State Road 882 (Forest Hill Boulevard) at/near that segment of roadway in Palm Beach County and has found it necessary to acquire said parcel now owned by the Village of Wellington. This property is not needed by the Village for access purposes.
Because Wellington will not need the parcel as the School District will be deeding the property to the Florida Department of Transportation making the premises described a part of the Forest Hill Boulevard right-of-way, the Florida Department of Transportation is requesting that the Village convey the parcel via the attached Quit Claim Deed.
