EXPLANATION: Pursuant to RFQ# 202010, on May 12, 2020, the Village Council awarded a continuing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract to The Morganti Group, Inc.
Staff is seeking authorization to issue an amendment, providing a Guaranteed Maximum Price, for the Aquatic Complex slide repair project. The scope of work includes refurbishment of water slides and stair tower. The scope of work includes preparation and painting of the exterior side of the slides, as well as repair and recoating of the interior side of the slide together with surface preparation and painting of all steel supports. The project is proposed to be completed 30 days from Notice to Proceed at a cost of $90,656.00.
Staff recommends executing a GMP amendment, to The Morganti Group, Inc., for the Aquatic Complex slide repair project at a cost of $90,656.00
