ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF VEHICLES AND EQUIPMENT; AND AUTHORIZATION TO DISPOSE OF EXISTING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT

EXPLANATION: In accordance with approved equipment schedules, staff is requesting authorization to purchase FY 2021 budgeted vehicles and equipment. Purchases are for the vehicles and equipment specified below, from authorized dealers at the lowest possible cost. In order to ensure the best possible pricing, staff obtained multiple competitive quotes from FSA and Sourcewell contracts. The lowest price per vehicle and equipment is summarized below:
