REQUEST:                     Authorization to continue utilizing a City of West Palm Beach contract, as a basis for pricing, for supplemental labor at the Water and Wastewater Plants, in an amount not to exceed $75,000 annually.

EXPLANATION:                     The Utility Department is requesting authorization to continue utilizing U.S. Water Services Corporation to supplement existing staff.  This contract has been utilized to supplement Water Plant and Wastewater Plant Operators during the COVID period.  It can also be used to supplement personnel in the Water Distribution, Wastewater Collection and Plant Maintenance Divisions. 

 

The City of West Palm Beach executed contract #19260.002 with U.S. Water Services Corporation through June 5, 2021. 

 

Staff is requesting authorization to continue utilizing a City of West Palm Beach contract with U.S. Water Services Corporation for Utility supplemental labor in the amount not to exceed $75,000.00 annually, including any future renewals.

 

Prior year expenditures are $128,858.75.
