EXPLANATION: Pursuant to RFQ# 202010, on May 12, 2020, the Village Council awarded a continuing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract to The Morganti Group, Inc.
Staff is seeking authorization to issue an Amendment, providing a Guaranteed Maximum Price, for the Birkdale Boardwalk Repair Project. The scope of work includes removal and replacement of existing decking and railing. The project is proposed to be completed in approximately ninety (90) days, from issuance of a Notice to Proceed, at a cost of $178,484.00.
Staff recommends executing a GMP Amendment to The Morganti Group, Inc. for the Birkdale Boardwalk Repair Project at a cost of $178,484.00.
