REQUEST:                     Recognition of the 2021 Palm Beach County School District’s Assistant Principal of the Year, Justin Arnone from Palm Beach Central High School.

EXPLANATION:                     Each year the Palm Beach County School District recognizes some of their best and brightest teachers and administrators. This year they selected Justin Arnone, Assistant Principal at Palm Beach Central High School as the District’s first Assistant Principal of the Year.

 

Justin Arnone has been an Assistant Principal at Palm Beach Central High School since 2017 and also serves as the student activities administrator and graduation coordinator, English Language Arts (ELA) Department Administrator and administrator for Performing and Fine Arts, Testing, Cambridge/AICE and Educational Technology.  He previously held the role of Science Department Administrator, overseeing a 12% increase in the Biology End of Course (EOC) scores.  Through his efforts as the English for Students of Other Languages (ESOL) Program Administrator, graduation rates for English Language Learner students increased by 15%. 

 

Mr. Arnone holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science Education from Florida State University, a Master’s Degree in Education with Specialization in Education Leadership from Nova Southeastern University and is currently working on a Doctor of Educational Leadership Degree from Lynn University.
