EXPLANATION: Staff is seeking authorization to execute a new lease agreement (attached) with Basore, Family Farms, LLC to utilize the K-Park site for agricultural farming and related uses, which may include a country market, outdoor festivals and activities, u-picks, fitness classes, farm to table events, private events such as weddings, small gatherings, and charitable fundraisers, educational classes, and events, family-friendly activities, community gardening, and other related agritourism activities.
The initial term of the agreement is for five (5) years with two (2) additional one (1) year renewal options.
