A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF ACME IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT ABANDONING A 5 FOOT PORTION OF A 25 FOOT WIDE MAINTENANCE EASEMENT, TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 400 SQUARE FEET, LOCATED WITHIN LOT 2, BLOCK 13, SUGAR POND MANOR OF WELLINGTON (14318 BLACKBERRY DRIVE), MORE SPECIFICALLY DESCRIBED HEREIN; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
REQUEST: Approval of Resolution No. AC2021-07 to vacate a five (5) foot portion of a 25 foot wide Maintenance Easement, totaling approximately 400 square feet, located at 14318 Blackberry Drive.

EXPLANATION: Michael Totino and Nicole Chao, owners, are requesting the abandonment of a five (5) foot portion of a 25 foot wide Maintenance Easement located at 14318 Blackberry Drive. The purpose of the request is to allow for the construction a pool and paver patio within the area proposed to be abandoned.
The Maintenance Easement was dedicated to the Acme Improvement District for lake/canal maintenance purposes and if approved, shall be abandoned by the Acme Board of Supervisors
The Engineering Services, Utility, and Planning Departments determined that the requested abandonment is consistent with the public interest and will not adversely affect utility or maintenance access to other properties.
