EXPLANATION: On September 28, 2021 Council awarded an engineering services contract (RFQ 202121) to multiple vendors. As part of the solicitation, Mock, Roos & Associates, Inc. was selected as one of Wellington's engineering service providers. Staff is seeking authorization to utilize such contract with Mock, Roos & Associates, Inc. to provide consulting services for the ICPR4 Model and Water Control Plan Update Project.
The purpose of this task order is to provide consulting services for the update of the ACME Improvement District municipal stormwater model. The latest version of the stormwater model update occurred in 2014. Since then, ACME has had several culvert, canal and pump station upgrades as part of the ACME R&R plan. The proposed update will incorporate all of the constructed improvements of the plan to date, additional terrain modeling (for available stormwater storage) based on the latest available development/topography data, and update the model to the latest version of the stormwater analysis software (ICPR version 4).
Staff recommends awarding a task order to Mock, Roos, & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting services the Village of Wellington's Surface Water Management System ICPR4 Computer Model and Water Control Plan Update for a cost of $223,490.
