ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AMEND AN EXISTING CONTRACT TO ADD ADDITIONAL CONSULTING SERVICES FOR PHASE II OF THE TOWN CENTER PROJECT
REQUEST: Authorization to amend an existing contract with Urban Design Studio, LLC to add additional consulting services for Phase II of the Town Center project.

EXPLANATION: On August 25, 2020, Council approved additional consulting services for Phase II of the Town Center project, increasing the contract total with Urban Design Studio, LLC to $ 722,838.00.
Pursuant to the Village's Purchasing Manual, the Change Order threshold for this contract requires Council approval when the cumulative dollar amounts, of the change orders for the awarded project, have reached $50,000.
The following changes have been approved by staff to date:
* Additional Services #1: Additional survey work - Total $7,475.00
* Additional Services #2: Assist with the identification and specification of the AV facilities for the amphitheater and additional survey work - Total $22,225.00
A third change has been presented to staff and requires Council approval:
* Additional Services #3:
o Prepare graphics and participate in meeting with Country Club Cove/Sag Harbor
o Prepare revised Site Plan reflecting amended Phase II program and graphics, and present at Capital Projects Meeting to Village Council
o Revise plans to reflect amended program for Construction Drawings
o Prepare plans for pedestrian connection to Country Club Cover/Sag Harbor
Total $40,060.00
The cumulative total for the above mentioned changes is $69,760.
Staff recommends amending the amending the existing contract to add additional consulting services with Urban Design Studio, LLC increasing the contract total to $792,598.00.
