EXPLANATION: Pursuant to RFQ# 202113, on May 11, 2021, the Village Council awarded a continuing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract to Wharton-Smith, Inc.
Staff is seeking authorization to issue an Amendment, providing for a GMP for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Dryer Platform Project. The scope of this project includes furnishing and installing all required labor and material for the construction of the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Dryer Maintenance Platform, in accordance with the project plans and specifications. There are no owner direct purchases associated with this project and substantial completion shall be met by no later than 156 calendar days from the issuance of the Notice to Proceed. T3 Fabrication, Inc. is the metal fabricator subcontractor for this project.
Staff recommends executing a guaranteed maximum price (GMP) amendment for the Water Reclamation Facility (WRF) Dryer Platform Project at cost of $200,000.00, including owner controlled contingencies in the amount of $62,896.03.
