REQUEST:                     Authorization to renew existing contracts to provide landscape maintenance services for parks Village-wide, to Mainguy Landscape Services, in the amount of $277,890.00 annually, and to Wellington Professional Lawn Care for secondary roadways, in the amount of $202,680 annually.

EXPLANATION:                     The Public Works Department utilizes contracts to provide landscape maintenance services for parks Village-wide and to provide landscape maintenance services for secondary roadways.

 

On March 13, 2018, Council awarded Bid #024-17/DZ to Mainguy Landscape Services to provide landscape maintenance services for parks Village-wide and Wellington Professional Lawn Care to maintain secondary roads. The existing contracts are set to expire on April 2, 2022 and provide for an additional one (1) year renewal option.

 

Staff requests authorization to exercise the final renewal option through April 2, 2023 with Mainguy Landscape Services, a non-local vendor, and Wellington Professional Lawn Care, a Western Community local vendor, to provide landscape maintenance services, with no price increases.
