REQUEST:                     Nomination and Selection of a Voting Delegate for the Florida League of Cities’ 96^th Annual Conference in Hollywood, Florida, from August 11, 2021 to August 13, 2022.

EXPLANATION:                     The Florida League of Cities will hold its 96^th Annual Conference at the Diplomat Beach Resort in Hollywood, Florida from August 11, 2022 to August 13, 2022. It is important that Wellington designate one official to be the voting delegate to cast the Village’s vote at the Annual Business Session, which is scheduled to be held on Thursday, August 11, 2022. Election of League leadership and adoption of resolutions are undertaken during the business meeting. A resolution is not needed to become a voting delegate. Attached is information received from the League regarding the designation of the voting delegate.
