EXPLANATION: In an effort to standardize the Village’s irrigation system and reduce costs, Hoover pumps have been installed in all parks and roadway medians throughout the Village.
The Public Works Department is seeking authorization to purchase a Hoover Irrigation Pump Station replacement for major maintenance at Village Park Football Field #2, at a cost of $67,936.26 (including installation). The pump station replacement will ensure proper operation of the irrigation system.
Hoover Pumping Systems is the Village’s vendor of record for irrigation pumps and the sole source provider for Hoover Pumps.
