EXPLANATION: On December 8, 2020, Council awarded two Contracts for Wellfield Rehabilitation and Maintenance to All Webb Enterprises, Inc. and Florida Design Drilling Corporation (ITB#202034).
On December 14, 2021, Council approved a task order to All Webbs Enterprises, Inc. for the rehabilitation of surficial aquifer wells R4, R8, and R10. On May 9, 2022, due to staffing shortages, All Webbs Enterprises, Inc. provided a cancellation notice. No work was performed under the task order.
Due to the inability of All Webbs Enterprises, Inc to complete the work, Staff is seeking authorization to award the project to Florida Design Drilling using a task order under the previously approved contract in the amount of $480,612, including $43,692 in owner controlled contingency and $39,720 in bonds and insurance.
