EXPLANATION: On September 28, 2021, Council awarded an engineering services contract (RFQ 202121) to multiple vendors. As part of the solicitation, Mock, Roos & Associates, Inc. was selected as one of Wellington’s engineering consulting service providers. Staff is seeking authorization to utilize such contract with Mock, Roos & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering design and bid phase consulting services for the Wastewater Lift Station 65 Rehabilitation and Generator SCADA Upgrades project.
The purpose of this task order is to provide design and bid phase consulting services to rehabilitate Lift Station No. 65. Lift Station No. 65 is located on the north side of Andover Coach Lane approximately one third of a mile south-west of the intersection of Lake Worth Road and State Road 7 in the Wycliffe Development. Wellington has identified Lift Station No. 65 as power critical and in need of rehabilitation. This design is included in the approved Utility Capital Improvement Plan under the Lift Station Rehabilitation Phase III Project.
Staff recommends awarding a task order to Mock, Roos, & Associates, Inc. to provide engineering consulting services the Village of Wellington’s Wastewater Lift Station No. 65 Rehabilitation project for a cost of $69,320.
