EXPLANATION: On June 14, 2022, the Village Council approved Resolution No. R2022-19, a comprehensive agreement between Wellington Athletics, LLC and ACME Improvement District, for the development, construction, operation, and maintenance of a recreational facility at the Wellington Community Park Site. As part of the approval, Council directed staff to have a market study conducted to determine the feasibility of the project. Staff subsequently engaged Clancy Sports, LLC. to conduct the market study.
Clancy Sports, LLC. is sports consultancy company based in Orlando. The firm specializes in strategic planning, organizational design, event programming, sports tourism initiatives and facility assessments.
Clancy Sports, LLC. has completed the market study and will be presenting the final report.
