EXPLANATION: Pursuant to RFQ# 202010, on May 12, 2020, the Village Council awarded a continuing Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) contract to The Morganti Group, Inc.
Staff is seeking authorization to execute a GMP amendment, providing a Guaranteed Maximum Price, for the Pool Filter Replacement project. The scope of work includes furnishing and installation of a fully automatic hi-rate sand filter conversion with hydraulic valves and 100 PSI tank. The filter system will interface with existing system controller and may be reused at a new facility, if needed. The current estimated lead time for the filters is approximately 18 weeks and the project is proposed to be completed in approximately thirty (30) days, from issuance of a Notice to Proceed, at a cost of $263,426.84.
Staff recommends executing a GMP Amendment to The Morganti Group, Inc. for the Pool Filter Replacement project at a cost of $263,426.84.
