ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO AWARD MULTIPLE CONTRACTS FOR THE SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF ROAD BASE
REQUEST: Authorization to award a primary and secondary contract, to Palm Beach Aggregates, LLC and Austin Tupler Trucking, Inc., respectively, for the supply and delivery of road base and drain rock in the amount of approximately $130,000.00 annually.

EXPLANATION: The Public Works Department utilizes a contract for the purchase and delivery of shell rock to provide maintenance and repairs to over 30 miles of unpaved roadways throughout the Village, including the equestrian preserve areas.
On May 15, 2017, the Village released ITB #010-17/ENR for the Supply and Delivery of Road Base, seeking qualified vendors to provide these services. On June 6, 2017, the Village received two (2) proposals meeting the required specifications. The Public Works Department is requesting authorization to award a contract to a primary and secondary vendor as listed below:
