A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON, FLORIDA APPROVING A QUIT CLAIM DEED BETWEEN THE VILLAGE OF WELLINGTON AND TLH-23 HILL, LLC; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

 

REQUEST:                     Approval of a Quit Claim Deed between the Village of Wellington and TLH-23 Hill LLC for a parcel adjacent to property owned by TLH-23 Hill, LLC.

EXPLANATION:                     As part of the development of the Village Royale project located in Royal Palm Beach, the developer has identified a parcel of property within the development that appears to be owned by the Village of Wellington.

 

Although Wellington is the utility provider for the development, the subject parcel is not needed for the installation or maintenance of utility infrastructure. All easements and other rights necessary for the installation and maintenance of utility infrastructure has been dedicated to Wellington by plat and the parcel is therefore surplus property. 

 

Because Wellington does not need the parcel and has never used or maintained it, the developer is requesting that the Village convey the parcel to TLH-23 Hill LLC.
