ITEM: AUTHORIZATION TO UTILIZE MULTIPLE CONTRACTS FOR THE PURCHASE AND DELIVERY OF A VEHICLE AND EQUIPMENT; AND AUTHORIZATION TO DISPOSE OF EXISTING SURPLUS EQUIPMENT
REQUEST: Authorization to utilize Florida Sheriff's Association (FSA) contract FSA20-VEL28.0 and Florida Sheriff's Association (FSA) contract FSA20-EQU18.0, as basis for pricing, for the purchase and delivery of a vehicle and equipment in the amount of $192,371.00; and authorization to dispose of existing surplus equipment pursuant to Village disposition policies.

EXPLANATION: In accordance with approved equipment schedules, staff is requesting authorization to purchase FY 2022 budgeted vehicle and equipment. Purchases for the vehicle and equipment are specified below from the authorized dealer at the lowest possible cost. In order to ensure the best possible pricing, staff obtained multiple competitive quotes from Florida Sheriff's Association contracts as well as Sourcewell contracts. The lowest price for the vehicle and equipment is summarized below:
