…body

EXPLANATION:                     On September 9, 2022, the Village Council authorized staff to negotiate with Ohlson Lavoie Corporation to provide architectural and engineering services for the construction of an aquatics facility.  While the overall scope of services necessary for these projects include planning, design, bidding, and construction administration services, the scope of this authorization includes site analysis, site selection and mater planning. Scope and fee for subsequent task orders for design phase, bid phase, and construction phase services will be presented to Council for consideration and approval as we approach the specific phase of the project.

The proposed scope of work includes master planning for the following configurations:

1.                     Town Center (competitive and recreational pools)

2.                     Village Park (competitive and recreational pools)

3.                     Wellington High School (competitive and recreational pools)

In addition, OLC will compile an operation and capital improvement cost for a split option that includes the following:

1.                      Town Center (recreational pool only)

2.                     Wellington High School (competitive pool only)
